Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing, technology driven global business services provider. The company is aiming for significant expansion over the next three years and is seeking talented professionals to support this growth.

They are looking to appoint a Senior VAT Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT specialist to take on a broad advisory and leadership role supporting both the business and a wide range of external clients.

The Role
Working as part of an established UK VAT team and collaborating with colleagues across the UK, Europe and the US, you will take responsibility for delivering high-quality VAT advisory and compliance services across multiple jurisdictions.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Providing technical VAT advice on complex domestic and international matters
• Managing and delivering end-to-end VAT advisory projects
• Overseeing VAT compliance activity and month-end reporting
• Supporting VAT audits, HMRC enquiries and disclosures
• Monitoring VAT legislation changes and advising senior stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
• Managing VAT obligations for both the business and its clients
• Supporting with onboarding new entities, including potential overseas exposure
• Leading, developing and mentoring junior team members
• Acting as a trusted contact for internal stakeholders and multinational clients
  
  About You
• ACA / ACCA / CTA (or equivalent)
• Extensive VAT experience, covering both compliance and advisory
• Strong technical ability with confidence in interpreting VAT legislation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
