Start your job searchA leading Lloyds insurer are currently looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join the finance team.
You will be expected to take full ownership of the ledger, monthly close and reporting process for the business. You will take responsibility for management and development of the finance team. You will also be expected to drive change and process improvements in the wider finance function as well.
Some of your duties will include but not be limited to the below
- Manage financial accounting, reporting and controls.
- Manage the preparation of the UK & US GAAP management accounts.
- Manage the production of all Lloyd's finance regulatory returns ensuring strong governance over the processes and adherence to Lloyd's minimum standards.
- Ensuring effective controls are in place and being reviewed.
- Manage the preparation of the tax returns.
- Manage the preparation of the annual statutory returns.
- Continuous communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Detailed review of the work in the team
You will need to be a qualified accountant with extensive experience of working in the Lloyds market as well as experience of leading a team and driving change. Please apply for a detailed conversation.
