Tax Advisor - Rugby / Hybrid - £45,000 DOE with Great Benefits Package

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a global Insurance Consultancy who are looking to expand their Tax team. They are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual eager to learn and contribute. Making this a perfect opportunity for an individual who is looking for a role where they can grow and develop.

They also provide Specialist Tax Consultancy and advice packages alongside a comprehensive Tax and VAT advice service to firms of accountants and affinity bodies. Where they aim to be a market leader in the provision of an efficient, cost effective and professional service to clients.

Day to Day:

  • Taking inbound telephone calls regarding Tax quires
  • Research queries and provide answers supported by legislation and HMRC references
  • Provide support to and share ideas/knowledge with other members of the advice team, including coaching and assisting less experienced colleagues
  • Ensure accuracy in advice and actions taken, in accordance with FCA and other regul They will be dealing with queries on - Inheritance Tax, Self Assessment, Capital Gains, Stamp Duty, Corporate & Individual Tax, (no VAT queries in this team)
  • Ad hoc requests

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Practical experience of dealing with all areas of UK Direct Tax
  • Good in-depth knowledge of UK Direct Taxation rules and regulations and their practical application
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
