Start your job searchA growing, award winning business based in Reading are looking to expand their in-house tax team by bringing in a Tax Manager. The role will be an important one looking after the UK and wider group. Reporting into the Head of Tax and supporting the Senior Tax Manager you will have lots of support. The role is a varied one, the kind of duties you can expect to be responsible for are:
- Corporation Tax - monthly corporate tax and deferred tax provisions along with half and yearly reporting for group entities
- Stay up to date with new legislation and communicate this information to the wider business
- Income tax reporting
- Employee taxes
- Some VAT work - the team have strong VAT experience already so you will not necessarily have much responsibility in this area unless this was preferred
- Support and take responsibility for ad-hoc tax related projects
This role would suit someone who has qualified within an accountancy practice working within corporate or business tax teams. Equally you can already be working in an in-house team. You must be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent. CTA would be an advantage but CTA training will be fully supported for the right person if this was something you wanted to take on.
