Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a Top 20 practice firm to recruit a Tax Technology Specialist into their Manchester-based Tax Innovation team. This is a technology-enabled role focused on transforming how UK tax teams operate, leveraging automation, data analytics, robotics and Gen AI to deliver a more modern, efficient service to clients.

If you have a background in UK Tax compliance and enjoy solving problems, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders, this could be an excellent opportunity to step into a forward-thinking, innovation-led environment.

The Role

You'll support UK tax teams with both new and existing tax technology solutions, helping to streamline processes and embed smarter ways of working across the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting UK tax teams with day-to-day tax technology tools and processes
• Assisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements and implementation
• Supporting the rollout of new systems and digital solutions across the tax function
• Providing project support on automation and process improvement initiatives
• Acting as a bridge between tax and technology stakeholders
• Supporting compliance processes and legislative updates from a systems perspective

What We're Looking For

• Experience working within the UK tax system, ideally in an accountancy practice
• Strong exposure to UK Corporation Tax compliance
• Solid understanding of UK tax returns, deadlines and legislative change processes
• A problem-solving mindset and the confidence to work with multiple stakeholders
