Marks Sattin are working with a rapidly growing hospitality business based in Reading who are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant. This role will offer hybrid working and will be based in Reading.



This Accounts Assistant role is a permanent role that will cover transactional finance initially with an opportunity to develop into areas related to management accounts. This will be ideal for somebody that has prior experience within finance and is looking to progress their career further.



Salary and Benefits:

• Annual Salary of £24k to £25k
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Onsite parking

Job Description/ Role:



The duties involved within this role will include:

• Processing invoices and uploading onto the accounts system
• Maintenance of budgets and uploading onto the accounts system
• Creation and maintenance of general ledger codes
• Balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
• Providing support for month end including VAT return submissions

Profile:

• Prior experience within finance
• Knowledge of Double entry accounting
