Marks Sattin are currently working with a growing business within the property centre for the role of Accounts Assistant.

Based in Wetherby, they are looking for an experienced candidate to work alongside a brilliant Management Accountant in the processing of all transactional duties along with providing financial reports using excel.

Ideally you will have experience processing accounts up to trial balance within an SME and also have experience using Xero. It would be ideal if you are AAT qualified also.

For this role, they will pay between £30,000 to £38,000 depending on level of experience/qualifications. They can also offer flexibility around start/finish times and hybrid working will be discussed for candidates.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and maintain main accounts email and action urgent requests
• Bank reconciliations
• Raising Bank payments and investor refunds
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Raise sales invoices including processing rental income statements
• Processing sales and purchase transactions along with checking completion statements.
• Manage supplier accounts and reconcile statements
• Maintain daily ledgers including monitoring and updating the Payhawk system
• Submit meter reads and download utility invoices.
• Assist with the Company's annual audit
• Ad-hoc analysis of company expense lines - e/g entertaining analysis for p11d purposes
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Monitoring and updating cashflow on a daily basis
• Posting of accruals & prepayments
• Reconcile loan accounts
• Process loan documentation for cashflow purposes and audit purposes.
• Any ad hoc duties as required by senior management including high level excel based reporting
