Marks Sattin is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk on a Permanent basis to join a growing client of ours based in Farnborough, who will be responsible for maintaining the Accounts Payable Ledger. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of payments, the accounting processes.

The role would suit a candidate in the later stages of their AAT Studies, and offers the candidate flexible Work-from-Home, as well as Office based working.

Responsibilities include:

• Administration of Purchase Ledger Accounts.
• Communicating with suppliers and other members of staff to pay authorised debt.
• Processing and matching purchase invoices, ensuring authorised in line with company policy.
• Setting up new accounts.
• Preparing payment files for authorisation.
• Working with other departments as required to enable payment of debt to supplier.
• Dealing with personal expenses.
• In addition to the duties listed above, the position holder must carry out tasks assigned by their supervisor that are essentially related to their duties.
