Start your job searchMarks Sattin is recruiting for the position of Accounts Payable Manager at a prestigious legal firm. This role ensures high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders, focusing on effective cashflow management and strong supplier relationships.
The Accounts Payable Manager will collaborate closely with the Finance Team to drive continuous improvement and ensure efficient processes.
For this role, they will pay up to £40k plus bonus and 2/3 days working from home per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee invoice entry, supplier statement reconciliation, query resolution, and preparation of payment runs.
- Act as the key contact for resolving accounts payable queries.
- Lead the team in processing payments and provide reporting to the Finance team.
- Streamline processes through automation and strengthen controls.
- Manage cashflow through supplier payment terms and produce KPIs.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, and professional growth of team members.
- Foster a high-performing team environment.
- Lead projects related to new systems and upgrades.
- Maintain supplier data and ensure compliance.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in leading Accounts Payable teams.
- Strong IT and analytical skills.
- Proven record of process improvement and team development.
