An international retail brand are actively looking for a newly qualified management accountant to join their head office based in Derbyshire.

Reporting into the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will be responsible for the following;

• Reviewing international management accounts, forecasts and subsidiaries
• Owning and presenting monthly finance reports to into the Head of Finance
• Reviewing subsidiaries balance sheets regularly, ensuring local accountability for reconciliations
• Reconciling International Fixed Assets, including deprecation and capitalisation, bridge local policy and group policy. Stock reconciliation
• Understanding and monitoring the Transfer pricing model and compliance across the European businesses
• Reviewing VAT returns, VAT controls and other tax compliance across the international subsidiaries
• Supporting the group & statutory audits, including stock testing and reconciliation, international audit requests
• Building strong working relationships with International finance teams, supporting them to ensure efficiencies and staff development

Successful candidate will be newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with some management accounting experience

Retail experience is desirable
