An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Housing Association. A client of ours is looking to expand their finance team, they require an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their Birmingham office. Needing a strong individual who can support the business retrieving aged debts.
Main responsibilities include.
- Chasing aged debts
- Mediating housing benefit claims
- Gathering documentation of claims
- Communicating with Contracted Tenants and internal members of the team
- Running regular reporting to track payments/actions which are needed.
- Maintaining and monitoring accounts.
- Resolving any Accounts Receivable related queries
- Initiate or progress legal action where need be.
Ideal Candidate:
- Someone experienced within a similar role.
- Experienced working within the Housing sector
- Experienced using an accounting software such as Sage/SAP and Excel
- Great communication skills
- Relationship building qualities.
- Attention to detail.
- Happy to work 5 days in office.
