Accounts Receivable Clerk
Stoke-on-Trent
£26,000 - £27,200

My client is currently looking for a Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team in their Newcastle office. Reporting directly into the Group Accountant and working alongside the Finance Team, you will be mainly responsible for managing the Group Sales and maintaining the Accounts Receivable.

Tasks:

  • Identify and carry out the most suitable action in relation to overdue debt.
  • Product standard debt collection correspondence and to develop case histories for any future reference via electronic correspondence for each debtor.
  • Consult with the Group Accountant to develop bespoke collection strategies for debts outside the standard terms, including maintaining/developing relationships with the customer to ensure beneficial outcomes.
  • Liaise with various departments to improve debt management processes and educate, also providing advice on ways of communication with other organisations.
  • Resolves issues raised by any internal/external parties, recommending further action if necessary.


Skills:

  • Previous experience working within an Accounts Receivable role.
  • Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail.
  • Able to manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Completed CICM Qualification (desirable)
