Marks Sattin are delighted to be currently partnered with a well-established, growing Advisory boutique who are in urgent requirement for the recruitment of an Advisory Associate in Birmingham.

This is a great opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to join a specialist Advisory firm and gain exposure to multiple market verticals - including Insolvency, Restructuring and Corporate Finance.

The Role

  • To contribute to the existing Advisory team dealing with a mixture of insolvency, restructuring advisory cases and ad-hoc Corporate Finance deals.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting directly to line managers, case managers, senior administrators as required.
  • Keep Partner(s), Directors and/or manager(s) updated on current position of cases/deals as required.
  • Efficient and cost-effective progression of portfolio work.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months of Advisory experience across Insolvency/Restructuring or Corporate Finance would be advantageous
  • Will consider individuals with c. 2 years experience within Audit looking to make a 1st time move into Advisory
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge
  • Studying towards ACCA/ACA qualification (desirable but not essential)
