Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to manage and deliver a prioritised backlog of technology projects and initiatives within a private markets or asset management environment. This is a hands-on role requiring strong ownership and a focus on delivery outcomes in a regulated financial services setting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and deliver a prioritized backlog of technology projects and change initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery across the full lifecycle, from initiation through to implementation and handover.
  • Apply agile delivery practices pragmatically, ensuring governance, transparency, and pace.
  • Build and maintain backlogs, ensuring clear prioritization and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, issues, and interlocks across technology and business stakeholders.
  • Actively manage third-party vendors and delivery partners, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality.
  • Maintain delivery artefacts and reporting using Jira, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and outcomes.
  • Provide structured updates to senior stakeholders and escalate issues where required.
  • Take full ownership for delivery outcomes with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience as a Delivery Manager, Project Manager, or similar role within technology-led change.
  • Strong experience in agile technology delivery environments.
  • Advanced, hands-on experience with Jira for backlog management, delivery tracking, and reporting.
  • Proven ability to build and manage backlogs effectively.
  • Mandatory experience within private markets or asset management environments.
  • Experience delivering change within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
  • Highly organized, structured approach to delivery with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
