My client is a well-established Private Equity business based in Central London. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable contractor to come on-board ASAP for an initial 6-month contract (strong possibility of extension).

This role is quite broad and sits across Accounts Payable, Banking Operations and also involves some basic financial and management accounts preparation (with support from qualified finance team).

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Preparation and ownership of weekly payment runs (Netsuite)
  • Bank account management (opening of new bank accounts, closing unused accounts, effective stakeholder management of banks etc.)
  • Weekly bank reconciliations, and posting of cash journal entries
  • Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Track director fees on an ongoing basis and ensure they are paid in a timely fashion
  • Basic preparation of management accounts and supporting documentation for dividend process with support from qualified accountants
  • Basic preparation of holding company accounts with support from qualified accountants (OneSource)
  • Posting of general ledger data for holding companies
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for holding companies
  • Liaising with finance managers and third-party service providers
  • Maintain loan schedules
  • Ad hoc project work relating to process and procedure improvement

The successful candidate will have experience across Accounts Payable, Bank account management and financial statement preparation (ideally via OneSource). Any exposure to Netsuite would also be advantageous. This would ideally be within an Investment Management business, but they are flexible for the right candidate.

The role will be paying between £225-£275p/d total to umbrella company.

Please note, due to the urgent nature of the role, candidates on more than 1 months' notice cannot be considered for the position.

This employer works on a hybrid basis with 4 days a week in the office with flexibility on which day is spent WFH.
