Bookkeeper

Location: South West London
Salary: £50,000
Hours: Mon-Fri, 9:00am-6:30pm
Contract: Temp-to-Perm (Immediate start required!)

Role

A Bookkeeper is required to manage day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records up to trial balance and handling multiple bank accounts.

Key Duties

• Process and post purchase invoices via QBO and AutoEntry
• Prepare and process supplier payments (subject to director approval)
• Manage multiple bank accounts, including postings, reconciliations, and daily balance monitoring
• Maintain accurate ledgers (AP/AR) across multiple entities up to trial balance
• Transfer funds between company accounts to ensure sufficient balances
• Maintain deal spreadsheets and assist with P&L tracking
• Liaise with external accountants and provide required financial information
• Support month-end processes and statutory filings (e.g. dormant accounts, confirmation statements)
• Monitor rental income and manage credit control
• Maintain company records and support new entity setup
• General finance administration in a busy office environment

Requirements

• Proven bookkeeping experience to trial balance
• Strong experience managing multiple entities and multiple bank accounts
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume role
• Strong Excel and data entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisation
• Confident communicator with internal and external stakeholders

Desirable:

• Experience within the property industry
• Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO)
