Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a leading B2C Technology business seeking a strategic and commercially driven CFO to join the leadership team. The business has established a strong presence and is now embarking on an ambitious programme of further expansion

The CFO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial strength, operational efficiency, and scalability of the business as it enters new markets and invests in customer-focused transformation. This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring a balance of strategic vision, operational delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CEO and Board to shape and deliver the rollout strategy.
• Establish robust financial planning, reporting, and governance across multiple territories.
• Manage cash flow, investment appraisal, and ROI analysis for new market entries.
• Drive operational excellence, enhancing management information and performance reporting across the group.
• Lead on digital and systems transformation, ensuring finance supports a modern, customer-focused organisation.
• Develop strong external relationships with banks, advisors, and international stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop the finance team, embedding high standards of financial discipline and commercial insight.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA).
• Proven CFO or Finance Director experience in a multisite, consumer-facing business.
• Demonstrated track record of supporting international expansion
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to shape strategy while maintaining a hands-on approach.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the credibility to engage effectively at Board and operational level.
