We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:

• Monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation
• Prepare and review financial statements for 4 entities
• Prepare monthly journals for accruals & prepayments explaining rationale behind accounting judgements.
• Full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting backing
• Variance analysis, including commentary
• Working closely with relevant business areas on Budget setting and forecasting
• Partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financials
• Participate in statutory external audits and work with external accountants
• Engagement in transforming month end and other financial reporting processes

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
• Experience of preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
