Start your job searchOur client is a PE backed SaaS business with an outstanding track record who are seeking their first finance hire. They are in an ideal position to grow the business globally and are now looking to recruit a high calibre CFO to help them on a steady trajectory for growing a SaaS Business as they are being bought by a well-respected PE house. The business is looking for someone to set up systems, processes, controls and financial controls in order to support the strategic direction of the business as they look to continued success.
The CFO responsibilities will include supporting the CEO and the leadership team and taking responsibility for the financial function. Additionally, the CFO will commercialise the business, create KPIs and strategic metrics, as well as improving full board reporting. You'll be an instrumental part of the leadership team, partnering with and presenting to the private equity house. As the financial number one, you will be crucial in planning the future growth of the company and realising the company vision.
Responsibilities will include:
- The ideal candidate must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, and ACMA).
- Previous experience of working and growing a PE Backed business preferably in a SaaS/Subscription based business as either a number one or number two or have been an autonomous FD/Divisional FD with hands-on experience and strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Working with the CEO to support future fundraising rounds
- Helping inform strategic decisions with robust financial models and owning and redesigning forward looking models and cash flow forecasting
- Partnering with the CEO and management team to define KPIs and goals, and drive improvements in reporting
- Monthly team, board and investor reporting
