This company are a market leader in their industry and continue to go from strength to strength as they look to further international expansion, an increased product offering and expansion from B2C to B2B. Working closely with the CFO with an excellent pedigree in the industry, you will be required partner with HOD's and advise the board on strategic decision making. Beyond this, there is the opportunity to develop a team underneath this role in the longer term, so whilst staff management experience is not essential, the desire to step towards leadership would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide insight and development of the accounts - drawing insight from data, helping the CFO and FC understand the drivers of performance
- Preparation/review of the company budget, forecast and 3-year plan processes
- Review financial results and provide detailed sales and margin variance analysis vs budgets/forecasts
- Business partnering with cross-functional teams, supporting commercial decision making by communicating MI to the Senior Leadership Team
- Provide data driven insights to identify margin improvement opportunities through customer and product analysis
- Ad-hoc reporting to support commercial finance, account teams and the wider business
You wil be a qualified (or equivalent) commercially focused individual, with proven experience in either business partnering or analysis roles. With a flair for numbers, you are able to 'tell the story' using data and provide crucial support to financial and non financial stakeholders in terms of risk and further opportunities. Experience in data manipulation tools is preferred, i.e SQL/PowerBI
