We are delighted to be working with an esteemed and respected English Law Firm in their search for a motivated Corporate Associate or Corporate Senior Associate to join their dynamic Private Equity Team. The client is flexible as to where the candidate will be based, and is accepting applicants based in Bristol, Plymouth, Exeter or anyone willing to relocate!

This role offers a unique chance for a skilled professional to contribute to the firm's renowned corporate team with a specific focus on the Private Equity sector. The role also offers you a balanced lifestyle with a blend of home and office working.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leading and participating in purchases of varying sizes from £20-30 million
  • Working with Private Equity backed companies. This will provide you with the ability to work on M & A transactions as part of a buy-and-build or bolt-on investment proposition
  • Developing and strengthening client relationships within the Private Equity sector and acting as a key point of contact for significant clients, mainly on the buyer side, furthering relationships over time
  • Providing mentorship and support to junior team members
  • Collaborating with the Change & Innovation Team to implement technology solutions

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in leading or participating in purchases and all Corporate work
  • Previous experience in working with private equity backed companies or a keen interest in working in private equity.
  • Exceptional rapport-building and communication skills
  • A strong understanding of the commercial context of clients' businesses
  • Enthusiasm for client satisfaction
  • Previous experience in mentoring and supervising junior team members

You will also be a 2-6 years PQE England and Wales Qualified Lawyer who qualified within private practice.
