Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a Top 10 firm in Leeds to recruit a Corporate Tax Senior Manager or Associate Director.

This is a key hire into a thriving Corporate Tax team with a strong market reputation, an impressive client base and a genuinely supportive culture. The role offers a blend of high-quality compliance, advisory work and relationship management, with clear opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the team.

The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of corporate clients, including large and complex groups, private equity-backed businesses and international organisations. The role is broad and commercially focused, combining day-to-day client leadership with technical delivery, people development and business development activity.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading corporate tax compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients
• Acting as the main relationship holder, delivering a high-quality and proactive service
• Advising on complex corporate tax matters and one-off advisory projects
• Identifying opportunities to add value and expand services across existing clients
• Supporting partners with client work and wider practice development initiatives
• Managing and delivering large or complex projects within agreed timelines and budgets
• Coaching, mentoring and developing junior members of the corporate tax team
• Working collaboratively with other specialist tax teams to deliver a joined-up service

About You

• CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong, up-to-date technical knowledge of UK corporate tax
• Proven experience managing a significant client portfolio
• Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and client leadership teams
• Strong project management skills and commercial awareness
• A collaborative, relationship-led approach with a desire to help grow both clients and people
