Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Wakefield based business within the building control sector for the role of Credit Controller.
This role will work in a small Credit Control team and will require an experienced Credit Controller to manage the Accounts Receivable process from start to finish. You will have full ownership over large complex accounts across the UK.
For this role, they will pay up to £30,000 and can offer hybrid working (2 days a week from home per week). They can also support candidates with CICM, should they wish to study.
Further responsibilities of the role include:
- Actively chase outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Implement effective strategies, processes and tactics to maximize cash collections.
- Maintain and develop a schedule for proactive follow-ups on pending invoices.
- Follow up on overdue invoices
- Ensure all payments are accurately recorded and allocated in the system.
- Set and monitor credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Implement and manage debt collection processes.
- Liaise with debt collection agencies and legal representatives where necessary.
- Negotiate repayment plans and handle disputes regarding unpaid invoices.
