A leading financial services provider focussed around private equity is looking for a Senior Depository/Custody Manager to drive the business forwards in the wake of new legislation allowing administrators to provide depository services to Alternative Investment Funds. This is a key hire and will be working very closely with the sales team and reporting directly into the Managing Director.
Responsibilities include:
· Introduce and oversee control around the business and hands-on management of the service delivery team
· Interact widely across the group with IT, Training officer and HR, COO and Operations Directors to implement the depositary/custody business line.
· Support sales efforts lead by the Commercial team, attending meetings and pitches and contributing to marketing material.
· Liaising with the coordinating the relationship with the Fund Administrator and Transfer Agent.
· Coordinating the legal and fund approval process (for new clients/new funds) in close collaboration with the client's legal advisers.
Past experience has shown that the most successful candidate in this role will have strong experience in either new depositary or custody business preferably to alternative assets (Private Equity/Real Estate) although other areas will be considered. Knowledge of the operational components and an understanding of multi jurisdictional regulatory frameworks will undoubtedly put you in strong contention
