Start your job searchThis role is for a Tax Manager with an international tax background to support a globally listed organisation in the consumer sector. This role is a 12-month maternity cover contract with flexible working available.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Advising, coordinating and problem-solving across a multi-functional team, including business, legal, accounting, finance
- Evaluate and provide holistic tax advice on business transactions, expansions and restructurings
- This involves detailed technical analysis (including working with external advisers if required), assessment and documentation of tax positions and working on implementation of advice with tax operations teams
- The role may also, as required, be involved in tax audit responses and other tax authority interactions
The successful candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in tax, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Relevant professional accounting or tax qualification
- Technical expertise in UK tax, including international provisions, such as permanent establishment, DST, anti-hybrid etc
- International tax experience, either at Big 4 accounting firm or in Industry
- Experience with US listed groups preferred
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders
