About the Role
A dynamic professional services firm is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial insights and support one of its key divisions. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role involves close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to drive financial performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct financial analysis, assessing performance against budgets and forecasts
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and financial models for strategic planning
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for decision-making
🔹 Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes
- Provide variance analysis to support financial performance management
- Work closely with leadership to align financial planning with business goals
🔹 Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing financial insights
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as HR & Business Operations
- Support special projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives
🔹 Performance Management
- Monitor financial KPIs and recommend cost optimisation initiatives
- Assist in setting targets and tracking progress toward strategic goals
Skills & Qualifications
✔ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACCA/CIMA preferred) ✔ Experience in a Finance Business Partner role within professional services ✔ Strong financial analysis & reporting skills, with expertise in Excel and financial modelling ✔ Proficiency in financial software (SAP, Planful, or similar tools) ✔ Ability to communicate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels ✔ Strategic thinker with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
