The Opportunity
A leading professional services organisation is looking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who enjoys working closely with operational leaders and influencing business performance through insight, analysis, and strategic support.
You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and contribute to key business decisions across a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with business leaders and operational teams to provide financial insight, challenge, and support across a broad range of commercial activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading forecasting and planning activities for designated business areas.
- Providing insightful analysis of financial and operational performance.
- Supporting senior stakeholders in understanding key performance drivers and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Delivering high-quality management information and board-level reporting.
- Partnering with operational leaders to improve profitability, efficiency, and resource utilisation.
- Supporting strategic initiatives, business cases, and investment decisions.
- Contributing to annual budgeting and longer-term planning processes.
- Assisting with commercial proposals, pricing reviews, and growth opportunities where required.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes, systems, and reporting.
- Working collaboratively across the wider finance function to support business priorities and best practice.
About You
We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience operating in a commercial finance or business partnering environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience supporting senior operational or commercial leaders.
- Excellent analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- The ability to translate complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Experience working within a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
