A vibrant hospitality and events company is looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join the team.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Financially responsible for a number of events - collaborating with the project teams to manage spend
  • Regularly liaise with various teams to assess costs and advise on forecasts and budgets
  • Month end closedown and assist in year-end audit for two of their fixed venues
  • Oversee weekly payment runs for both venues
  • Weekly performance reporting to the Directors
  • Analysis of income and costs and assist in preparing the annual budgets and forecasts
  • Assist the Finance team in any other ad hoc projects and events
  • Owning event budgets from a finance perspective
  • Ensure PO's have been raised and approved for all committed costs
  • Analyse and produce reports to identify trends

This is an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional with a keen interest in the hospitality and events sector. The ideal candidate will have experience working a finance role in the restaurant industry and will possess excellent Excel skills. The role will involve working with large sets of data and complex spreadsheets so you should have experience working with budgeting and variance analysis and have excellent presentation skills.
