We are currently partnering with a leading global macro hedge fund looking for a Finance Manager role in London.

The firm currently managed approximately $12 billion in assets with an approach that combine macroeconomic research with technical analyses, and focus largely on Emerging markets.

An ideal candidate would likely be 3-7 years post-qualified ACA, or equivalent qualification. Big 4 experience is beneficial, but not essential. Hedge fund or similar position in investment management is useful, in addition to understanding other corporate structures and with current knowledge of corporation tax rules.

The role will have full end-to-end responsibility for the UK finance operations whilst playing a part in a global finance team for the firm's management companies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day UK finance operations and running the UK annual audit process including liaising with third parties
• Responsible for financial FCA regulatory reporting submissions
• Preparation of annual consolidated and company specific statutory accounts
• Reporting to Senior Finance Manager based in the US, with responsibility of overseeing a junior team member
• Provide support to the wider finance function from a strategic standpoint

Requirements:

• Ability to build trusting relationships through effective communication at all levels
• Confident in UK regulations and self-sufficient in regulatory content
• Able to manage conflicting priorities with strong team focus and willingness to learn
• Proficiency in IT- including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Enjoy a collaborative and cohesive working environment
