Finance Manager - Property Development

Great opportunity to join a leading property development business with aggressive growth plans and investment. Over the next three years the business will come across new challenges associated with their growth and international expansion and the finance team will play a big part in supporting this.

Company

Fast-growing property development business with a high level of investment is looking for a Finance Manager to join the team in a newly-created role. Over the next three years they are predicted to more than double their turnover and their finance team is going to be an integral part of their plan.

Duties:

  • Preparation of monthly development reporting for all stakeholders
  • Managing the project Cost to Complete by analysing monthly actuals vs budget and reforecasts.
  • Project funding monitoring, reporting and preparation of monthly claims and drawdowns from debt providers whether internal or external
  • Monitor and develop the group consolidated cashflows and equity management
  • Oversee procurement and payment to ensure that the outsourced finance team are adhering to the SLA's
  • Preparation of monthly compliance reporting in line with debt facilities and the completion of the management accounts
  • Oversee the annual audit process and the preparation of the Financial Statements in accordance with the agreed timetable for the specific legal entities within the development project
  • Completion of the annual Business Plan for relevant projects
  • Provision of information for the quarterly reporting packs for the Group Consolidation in accordance with the reporting timetables
  • Compilation, disclosure and review with auditors of statutory accounts
  • Assisting with the setting up of new corporate entities for acquisitions, opening of new bank accounts, KYC information and relevant corporate/ tax documents
  • Pro-active project management, resolving risks and concerns through short interval management
  • Development of a continuous improvement culture.
  • Supporting and leading change programmes, helping to support the Property Financial Controller and finance team to deliver a step change improvement in processes
  • Design and track KPIs relevant to the project and advise project process
