Start your job searchOur client, a privately backed and growing real estate business, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Financial Controller to support the launch of its internal property management function.
This is a newly created, standalone role offering broad exposure across finance, operations, and investment. It represents a unique opportunity to shape core reporting and compliance processes from the ground up within a fast-evolving mixed-use property platform.
Reporting directly to senior leadership and working closely with teams across asset management, development, and credit, the Financial Controller will take ownership of key financial functions including bank reporting, drawdown management, statutory accounts oversight, and service charge control.
£70-80k / £400-450pd - London Based Office
Key Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with experience in audit practice (ACA,CAANZ)
- Strong technical grounding in financial reporting and compliance, ideally within real estate or asset-heavy sectors
- Experience working with lenders, covenants, and bank reporting
- Exposure to PropCo or REIT structures and understanding of operational property finance (rents, service charge, tenant billing)
- Confident working cross-functionally and communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders
