My client is a worldwide household name in the energy and resources sector. They are looking for an experience FP&A analyst to join their team on an initial 10 month contract with a possibility of going permanent.
About the role:
- Preparation of the yearly budget and forecast presentations
- Looking after the forecasts and budget plans for the business
- Responsible for the monthly, quarterly and year-end management accounts,reporting on the performance analysis of the business
- Review current operations on forecasts and budgets, making necessary changes
- In charge of the quarterly forecast
- Constantly recommending new ideas strategies to improve the system
About You:
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or overseas equivalent)
- Advanced Excel experience a must , with knowledge of BI tools an advantage
- Previous expeirence within a simialr industry: Oil & Gas, Mining, Infrastructure etc.
- Detail conscious, with an ability to meet deadlines
- Be a clear and strong communicator
- Have a strong commercial awareness and experience in supporting senior leadership
