My client is a leading Investment Manager that focusses on renewable and infrastructure investments. They are looking for a Fund Financial Controller to join their team ASAP on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

This role would ideally suit a solid Fund/Financial accountant with great excel skills who is looking to take the next step in their career to the FC level in a very commercial role.

Main duties include but are not limited to:

  • Review of annual statutory accounts
  • Review of annual (audited) and mid-year (unaudited) valuations
  • Review of investor drawdowns, distributions, equalisations and general investor reporting
  • Review of financial models
  • Business partnering and providing advice to the asset management, fund management and deal teams
  • Review of fund management information including reporting on investment performance and monitoring new investments
  • Financial appraisal of target investments
  • Tax structuring of investments and funds

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with experience gained within Fund Accounting (ideally with infrastructure investments). Candidates from an accountancy practice or fund administration background with Infrastructure, PE or Real Estate Fund clients are also encouraged to apply.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential. A working knowledge of financial models would be a distinct advantage as would experience with macros and VBA but this is preferable and not essential. Exposure to PowerBI would also be highly desirable.

We look forward to receiving your application.
