Marks Sattin, collaborating with an Industry market leader expanding their Tax Team due to sustainable growth within the business. The Tax Team are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual eager to learn and contribute. Perfect opportunity for a Graduate or an individual starting out in their Tax Career.
This role offers hybrid working and flexibility.
The Role:
This is a chance to join a dynamic culture for a driven individual who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team, while having a strong client service orientation.
Day to Day:
- Monthly tasks to ensure our tax reporting and compliance deadlines are met
- Regular compliance tasks including, the preparation and submission of VAT returns, and the monthly Construction Industry Scheme return
- Preparation of the monthly tax accrual, analysis of the tax reserves
- Preparing regular journals to account for other tax issues
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation
- Ad hoc requests
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong academic background in either Finance, Business, Accounting or Maths
- Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable using Excel, with the capacity to use functions, features, and formulas to organise and analyse data.
