Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking a commercially minded Group Finance Director to join a PE-backed technology-enabled media business to drive further growth organically and propel the business to its next level. Working alongside the CFO, this will be achieved through the execution of an ambitious international growth strategy.

This business has a significant focus on profitability and value creation, requiring the Group Finance Director to build and improve processes, procedures, and controls to support strategic decisions that will drive for further growth. As Group Finance Director, you will have an active hands-on approach, where excellent communication, presentation, and team leadership skills will foster a culture passionate about wealth creation.

This role will involve upgrading the financial structure, as well as liaising with investors, bankers, and advisors to strengthen key relationships that will solidify the direction of the company. You will use your commercial knowledge and expertise to guide the business through organic growth and future acquisitions.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA), preferably chartered
• Been an autonomous Finance Director, preferably in the media or marketing sectors
• Experience managing a team
• Involvement with M&A (acquisition and integration)
• Worked in an international business
• Demonstrate a track record of business process and operations.
