Start your job searchMarks Sattin have been engaged by an international Software Services business to recruit a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis. A role that will oversee the financial operations of the business, taking ownership over areas such as accounts payable/receivable, treasury, banking, general ledger and intercompany transactions.
Alongside the day to day responsibilities you will be tasked with driving process improvement, efficiencies and ensuring the smooth running of finance systems.
The Group Financial Controller position will be paying between £85k and £95k per annum with a hybrid working structure.
The Group Financial Controller Role
This role will assume responsibility of the finance operations of this successful international business, you will be a clear leader and drive the continued accuracy and value of the function. The team is in a great place upon handover which will provide an opportunity to hit the ground running and focus on enhancements as you settle into the position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of the purchase-to-pay end to end processes and controls
- Month end responsibilities for OPEX entries
- Oversight of credit control and cash collection
- Manage group cash flow and obligations
- Quarterly balance sheet review/reconciliation
- Lead on projects related to finance operations
- Team management of circa 20
Key Skills and Experience
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Prior experience managing a team split globally
- Mid to large team management
- Multi-currency experience
- Previously lead an operational finance function
