Start your job searchInternational wholesale and DTC consumer brand is currently looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their team. This role will be reporting directly into the CFO responsible for financial reporting, tax, treasury and finance operations.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to achieve business objectives
- Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis
- Oversee financial reporting, including monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and external partners
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Identify areas for cost savings and implement initiatives to reduce costs without compromising business performance
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure audit readiness and resolve any audit findings
- Manage a team of 15 (3 direct reports)
The successful candidate will be an accountant qualified with post-qualified experience leading a team. Experience, of having worked with stock and international markets is essential. Previous experience of having worked for a retail, FMCG (or similar) business would be extremely desirable.
