Start your job searchMarks Sattin is working with a national retailer who are recruiting for a Group Risk Manager where you will be helping to establish and grow out the risk function.
This is an amazing opportunity in helping the group achieve its objectives embedding the framework, which will allow management to monitor and report on risk activities on a consistent basis.
With the organisation growing out the risk Management team, this is the perfect chance for someone who really wants to make an impact and use their skill set and ability to craft the function in the way you believe best.
You will partner with the management team, wider business to ensure effective frameworks are in place and compliment the growth the business has planned.
Responsibilities:
- Helping to establish an understanding of the business, the risks it faces and how management are responding to risk;
- Work with Management to further develop and embed the Risk Management Framework.
- You will act as the main point of contact for guidance on risk based decision making, for example within major projects.
- Engage regularly with the Group Executive, Divisional Leadership, and the Audit Committee as required.
- Support in continually assessing risk, capturing and reporting on risk information.
- Act as the system administrator for risk management software to capture and record risk information
- Support the Quarterly Business Review process with dashboard reporting on risk across the group.
- Coordinate the quarterly Executive Risk Committee, and report on risk information in the period.
Your Experience:
- You will have with strong risk management experience, combined with excellent relationship management and project management skills to build, drive and create a robust view of risk across the Group.
- Reporting to the Group Head of Risk & Assurance you ideally have a risk Management qualification (IRM)
