Start your job searchMarks Sattin is working very closely with business based in North Yorkshire who are looking to recruit for a Tax Manager. The business not only has a strong reputation for developing technical capability but also ensuring personal progression throughout the organisation.
In this all-encompassing role, you will be working with senior stakeholders across the business to make sure that, not only are you the face of tax but you are involved in strategic projects.
In the role, you will be responsible for:-
- Supporting the management and review of the UK tax compliance obligations
- Managing the tax planning and forecasting processes and understanding the impact on the effective tax rate and cash tax forecasts.
- Managing the tax risk management process.
- Executing policies such as the Tax Strategy, transfer pricing, employment and indirect tax policies.
Once the day to day role has been established you will have the opportunity to support across financing, M&A and transfer pricing.
You will be qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA) and have a strong background in offering a business partner approach in your current role. You will have experience in understanding of tax related accounting standards and entity and consolidated tax reporting under UK GAAP. Exposure working in a dynamic, fast moving business is advantageous.
