We have been retained by a growing real estate investment manager who seeks the talents of a driven and career minded Fund Controller for a newly created Head of Fund Finance position. With a number of high profile investments completed this year across Europe and the UK across retail, hotel and logistics and a strong pipeline for 2019, this company has quickly become a player within the market.

The Head of Fund Finance will play an incredibly important role in shaping the fund finance team. Initially, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of a number of their real estate funds; This will include liaising with the third party administrators to review the production of quarterly financial statements. Overseeing and co‐ordinating the investment valuation process, including a high degree of interaction with the London investment teams. You will also act as a point of reference for investor queries.

Once completed, you will become increasingly involved with further aspects of the business including; implementing new online performance and risk reporting to investors, oversee currency hedging and negotiating fund level lending facilities, fund modelling, supporting the investment teams as they structure investments from a tax standpoint and also pitch in with corporate finance-related activities. You will be of course be working by the side of a seasoned real estate professional who will support you in your growth and development.

We're looking for a qualified accountant (essential) with previous fund control (finance and operations) expertise in real estate who is looking for the next step up. This will be gained in a real estate / private equity firm. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop productive working relationships with stakeholders internal and external. The company is continuously launching new and even more complicated funds with this role best suited to someone who prefers working in a fast-paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. This opportunity is rate and by no means a 9-5 job, extended hours will be involved but must to gain and of course, will be rewarded for all your efforts.

This role is looking to make an immediate hire with exceptional bonus potential on offer in addition to a healthy base salary and above market benefits.
