Start your job searchMarks Sattin are partnering with a leading organisation based in Wakefield for the role of in their search for an experienced Interim Transactional Lead / Manager to join their finance function during a period of change and transformation.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who can roll up their sleeves, lead by example, and drive process improvement across Accounts Payable and Receivable functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a transactional finance team.
- Oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
- Step into a business partnering role where needed, liaising with operational teams
- Drive process improvement initiatives and support the implementation
- Manage backlog and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Provide cover for other finance roles as needed during periods of leave
- Support and mentor team members
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience in AP/AR leadership or transactional finance management
- A proactive, hands-on leader who can lead by example
- Experience in process improvement and change management
