The role is hybrid and based in the office 3 days per week.
The Management Accountant will be actively studying, demonstrate enthusistim to learn and progress, and
It is a great opportunity to gain experience in reporting for a PE backed business.
The role is open to Assistant Accountants looking to take a step up or Accountants with a couple of years experience in producing the management accounts.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will work closely with the Senior Management Accountant to manage and deliver financial reporting requirements to key stakeholders across the business. This role is pivotal in maintaining a robust financial control environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Processing accruals and pre-payments
- Performing full balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting and supporting with bank payments and transfers
- Conducting cost analysis, to understand trends and cost saving opportunities
- Presenting financial reports to the commercial and operations teams
- Overseeing the revenue recognition process
- Cost journal analysis
- Any other ad hoc duties and analysis as requested by the Finance team
The ideal Management Accountant will:
- Have previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant role
- Be actively studying towards CIMA/ ACCA/ eqivalent qualification
- Have previous experience with Netsuite software (ideal)
- Be energetic, keen to learn and a self-starter
- Must have a notice period of 1 week or less
