Role - Management Accountant Location - Liverpool Salary - Anywhere Between £40,000 - £47,500

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing SME technology business in their search for a Management Accountant to come and work in their offices in Liverpool with a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be studying towards their ACA/ACCA or CIMA studies. The ability to work collaboratively throughout an organisation will be key as will be the ability to manage workloads and work to relatively tight deadlines. Excellent Excel skills are a must and any exposure to working under UK GAAP would be beneficial although not essential. As the team is relatively small the Management Accountant will be required to get involved in all aspects of accounts with exposure to all areas of finance. Key duties for the Management Accountant position will include:

• Responsibility for month end accounting
• Posting journals, accruals, prepayments etc.
• Management of the balance sheet
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Variance analysis
• Assist with the production of statutory accounts
• Assist with the payroll process
• Involvement in integration of acquisitions
• Look to improve processes, procedures and systems

Salary for the role is up to £47,500 benefits
