The Opportunity

Designed as a development role, you'll initially support the delivery of accounting and tax services before transitioning into owning your own portfolio as a Client Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
• VAT return preparation and review
• Producing monthly/quarterly management accounts
• Personal and corporation tax compliance
• Supporting clients with Xero and cloud accounting systems
• Leading onboarding and system setup
• Managing day-to-day client communication and queries
• Supporting senior staff with advisory and project work

As you develop, you'll take on more client-facing responsibility, becoming a trusted adviser to business owners across the region.

About You

You'll succeed in this role if you're proactive, organised, and enjoy working closely with clients.

Essential:

• 3+ years' experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong background in accounts preparation
• Experience with VAT and management accounts
• Confident using cloud software (Xero experience ideal)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Desirable:

• AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified or studying
• Xero certified
• Familiarity with IRIS or similar practice software

Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys helping clients understand their numbers and supporting their growth.
