I am currently partnering with an established Real Estate Investment business who are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing finance division. This is a broad role reporting directly to the Associate Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of the monthly management accounts including variance analysis and providing commentary.
• Budget and forecasting processes.
• Business partner with teams across finance and other business units.
• Balance sheet reconciliation and ensuring these are up to date and accurate.
• Maintaining reliable and accurate data within the General Ledger.
• Produce statutory accounts for the group subsidiaries.
• Posting of journals including accruals and prepayments.
• Liaise with external auditors and providing audit evidence.
• Service Charge accounting to understand the impact of its income/costs on the Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Additional ad-hoc project work and analysis to support the wider team and business.

In order to be considered for this role you must be newly qualified ACA/ACCA or have up to 2 years PQE. Candidates must have an eye for detail and the ability to thoroughly interpret financial data is key within this role. In addition, you will be organised, manage time well and able to communicate well with both finance and non-finance professionals. Though property experience is not essential, it is favourable - and strong systems and Excel skills is essential.
