Management Accountant | Manchester City Centre | £40K- £45K | 4 Days in the office

A growing City Centre based group is building a high‑performing finance team and needs a hands on, commercially minded Management Accountant to take ownership of monthly accounts and drive better insight across the business.

You'll run end to end management accounts for several operating companies, strengthen reporting, improve processes, and partner closely with teams across operations. It's a fast paced environment where you'll have real autonomy and visibility.

Responsibilities:

• Produce full monthly management accounts

• Deliver P&L and margin analysis

• Maintain fixed asset registers and balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare VAT returns, bank recs, intercompany recs and sales reporting

• Support budgeting, forecasting and weekly cashflow

• Work with Shared Services on AP/AR

• Assist with year‑end and audit prep

Requirements:

• Part‑qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or QBE

• Strong Excel and attention to detail

• Commercial mindset and confidence working with stakeholders

• Proactive, collaborative and eager to improve processes

This role will require travel to different sites. You will therefore be required to have access to your own transport and hold a full driving licence.
