Management Accountant - Reading (Hybrid) - 6 month FTC - £65,000 FTE

A brilliant opportunity to join our clients in Reading on a 6 month contract as their Management Accountant getting involved on an integration project from a large acquisition. An opportunity to get involved in a large acquisition for a £billion turnover powerhouse.

You'll be....

• Getting all finance elements of the integrating and accounting done from day one, managing the plan for acquisition including all pre-acquisition data requirements, completion date activities and post completion requirement.
• Ensuring everyting is in the Group results by working day 5
• An extensive plan has been written, you will be tasked with executing this and ensuring it happens.
• There will be a separate ledger of the integration entity and you will ensure all accounting goes into that ledger, think completion accounts, open end balances, reconciliations, month end and more.
• Ensure that AP is linking through to Accruals correctly whether that e Revenue or Expenses.
• You will liaise with external Auditors - providing Audit evidence so will need to undertake "digging into the data" exercises.

About you....

• ACA qualified for a Top 10 firm
• At least 2 years post qualified
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge
• Available immediately or on short notice
• You'll need to be a good project manager/multi tasker - you'll have lots to do!
• A trong undertandsing of Debits& Credits is vital
