Management Accountant

Stonehouse (4 days in the office)

£45,000 - £50,000

A hands-on, number two finance role in a Stonehouse manufacturing business that has experienced tremendous growth in the last few years. A great opportunity to take responsibility for management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting and the annual audit in this growing medium sized business.

Main responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including commentary
• Reporting against prior year and budget
• Management reporting in areas such as sales, gross margin, stock and debtors
• Development of KPIs that measure company performance
• Posting of accruals and prepayments
• Monthly control account reconciliations
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Production of VAT returns

Candidate background

• Could be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience of the manufacturing sector would be ideal
• Good experience of management accounting and reporting is important
• Proficient with ERPs and a high level of proficiency with Excel
