Working for a FTSE250 listed Banking group in the City, this role will be suited to someone with an entrepreneurial mind set that likes to seek new business, particularly within Corporate Finance and Private Equity Advisory.

This is a client facing role with a fantastic uncapped bonus scheme in place.

Your purpose in this role is to originate, structure and negotiate asset based lending solutions with a specific focus on Private Equity, M&A and LBO scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a network of corporate finance, debt advisory and PE acquisition channels as a consistent route to market.
  • Structure transactions from debt sizes of £2.5m - £65m utilising their product range of Accounts Receivables, Inventory, Plant & Machinery, Property and Cash-Flow, and where applicable, utilisation of government support scheme CBILs, CLBILS and RLS.
  • Assess a broad range of complex financial and non-financial information to then structure terms with a focus on maximising quantum without exposing your business to unnecessary impairment risk.
  • Assessing financial statements - profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow statements (both statutory and customer source data) and undertake suitable lender due diligence.
  • Form a strong and objective opinion on asset values.
  • Prepare complex but succinct credit applications and present transactions to local and group credit committee.
  • Identify and mitigate key risks and be able to negotiate terms internally and externally whilst delivering transactions within your credit policy / lending guidelines

Requirements

  • Qualified ACA or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a Corporate Finance or PE Advisory role to a grade of at least Manager or Senior Manager
  • Experience of working on buy-side or sell-side transactions
  • Experience with LBO's, company valuation and financial due-diligence.
