I am currently working with a leading Waste Management company that are on the lookout for a Payroll Manager.
Where you fit in?
You'll be joining a developing fast pace business within a role that offers flexibility in your approach and method of working.
Your role:
- Run the payrolls for all group companies, ensuring the information is accurate and complete
- Co-ordinate with employment agencies regarding timesheets, queries and invoicing
- Maintain employee records and documents
- Facilitate and manage the transition of Group Companies
- Involved in setting up the new systems, mapping the payroll, testing the new systems and running a parallel payroll
- Train managers and supervisors to use systems
- Create starter packs where necessary
- Conduct the payroll year end and produce P60's for all employees
- Regular payroll reports to be produced for the UK Group Finance Director
- Manage all regulatory procedures
What you need?
You'll need to have experience of managing the implementation of a new time and attendance system as well as experience of managing an in-house payroll department. Organisation with exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and to keep to tight deadlines is a must. You'll have detailed knowledge of payroll systems, taxation, national insurance and pension's administration with the ability to prepare and submit monthly and annual returns to HMRC.
A recognised payroll qualification would be an advantage, however it is not essential!
